Sending Leeds positive mental vibes was all I could do until I received an email from UCAS track on the 28th March, my fourth and final update had arrived and I couldn’t open it – too scared about the possibility of finding ‘unsuccessful’ written by the side of Leeds. They had been so lovely at the interview, there was such a warm atmosphere and I just knew that it would be an incredible university to be a part of.
Eventually, through a lot of persuasion from my best friend I opened the e-mail and to my utter disbelief it said ‘CONDITIONAL’ written there on the page. Wow – the unbelievable sense of happiness, relief, achievement and excitement flooded through me. If I manage to get AAA in my A-levels I will be a medical student! I couldn’t believe my eyes, and I still can’t quite believe it’s true. I am on cloud nine and its all thanks to so many people who have helped me along the way. It has been a long journey, with lots of highs and lows but the feeling of achievement now is nothing I have ever experienced and I don’t regret any part of it, even for a second.
A massive thank you to UKCATprep.com for helping me receive this offer, for all of the help and advice they have offered.
